Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club/Driskill Foundation
$5,000 Scholarship

The Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club is a local organization whose mission is to help
others within our community through social, educational, and charitable opportunities. The Driskill
Foundation’s mission is to offer students a future where opportunities for growth, personal
development, and contributions to society are measured by the depths of one’s own curiosity and
creativity. Together, we offer financial support to three outstanding local graduates that share our values.

A $5,000 scholarship will be awarded to three high school seniors who attend school in either District
203 or 204. These student leaders will have demonstrated the values of education and volunteerism
within the community to “pay it forward” to greater Naperville.  Each student will receive a one-time
scholarship of $5,000 toward their education at the College of DuPage.
Our two main criteria for being awarded this scholarship are:
1. Helping others in the community:
Your community service could be a singular volunteer opportunity where you stepped up to
make a difference in the life of someone in need. It could be your involvement as a part of an
organization that helps to make a difference in the lives of others. Or it could be a community service
project that you developed and completed on your own.
2. You want to further your education:
We are focusing on students who are choosing to attend the College of DuPage to earn an
Associate’s degree, which will be transferable to any 4-year university.
