Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club with

The Driskill Foundation

$5,000 Scholarship

The Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club is a local organization who values supporting our graduating high school students in Naperville. The Driskill Foundation’s mission is to offer students a future where opportunities for growth, personal development, and contributions to society are measured by the depths of one’s own curiosity and creativity.

These $5,000 scholarships will be awarded to 2 high school seniors who attended high school in either Districts 203 and 204. Each of these students will be persons who share our values of learning while volunteering within the community to “pay it forward” to the greater Naperville community. Each student will receive a one-time scholarship of $5,000 toward their education.

Our two main criteria for criteria for being awarded this scholarship are:

1. Helping Others in the community: this can be a singular situation where you stepped up to make a difference in the life of someone, or being part of an organization that helps others, or a community service project you completed on your own.

2. You want to further your education: We are focusing on students with one of these two goals:

  • To attend a 2-year college of their choice to earn an Associate’s degree, with or without a possible goal of transferring to a 4-year college.
  • To attend a technical school of their choice, with or without the goal of transferring to a 4 year college in the future.
