Hey, how about a leisurely ride from Knoch Knolls Park on the DuPage River Trail? The trail is paved and has a gentle grade as it follows the DuPage River along Washington Street. We will ride on the mostly shaded trail to just north of Veteran’s Park north of Gartner. The trail ends at Villa Avenue where we will have a short ride on bike lanes through residential streets to the Dunkin Donuts on Hillside.

We’ll leave from the parking lot of the Knoch Knolls Nature Center at 320 Knock Knolls Road in Naperville at 9:00 AM on Friday, May 10th.  The total distance will be 9.4 miles with a coffee, and or ice cream, stop at the Dunkin Donuts at the corner of Washington and Hillside at 4.7 miles.  This will be a leisurely ride. 
 
Want to add a few miles? After returning to our starting point some of us will continue on the DuPage River Trail to and around Whalon Lake to add another 8 miles to our ride. 
 
Find your helmet, dust off the bike, pump up the tires, and get ready for a leisurely ride, coffee, maybe ice cream, and conversation.  Bring a bottle of cold water to enjoy along the way and at the end our ride.
