The Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club (NNNC) (www.NapervilleNewcomersandNeighborsClub.com) is a local non-profit 501c3 social organization whose mission is to help others within Naperville and the surrounding area through social, educational, and charitable opportunities. With the support of our sponsors, members, donors, and our fundraising activities, we are offering four (4) post-secondary scholarships in 2025 to outstanding local graduates that share our community values.

Each of our $2,000 scholarships will be awarded to four qualifying high school seniors who reside in the District 203 or 204 geographic area and will graduate in spring 2025. Any such graduating student may qualify and does not need to be a member, nor know a member, of NNNC.  The student will have demonstrated the values of volunteerism within the community to “pay it forward” to the greater Naperville area.

Each selected student will receive a one-time scholarship of $2,000 toward their post-secondary education at an ILLINOIS two-year, four-year, or vocational institution. Scholarship money will be deposited with the Illinois post-secondary institution (school) of his/her choice for tuition, fees, books, and/or computer purchased through the school during the 2025/2026 academic year.

Our two main criteria for being awarded this scholarship are:

1. Helping others in the community: Community can be defined as the town in which you live, your school, your church, and/or your family members. Your community service could be a singular volunteer opportunity where you stepped up to make a difference in the life of someone in need. It could be your involvement as a part of an organization that helps to make a difference in the lives of others. Or it could be a community service project that you developed and completed on your own. Your volunteerism demonstrates a passion or commitment to serving your community.

      2. Desiring to further your education: You will be continuing your post-secondary education in the 2025/2026 academic year at an ILLINOIS two-year, four-year, or vocational school.
          The scholarship must be used by May 2026 toward tuition, fees, books, and/or a computer that is purchased through your school.
