From Dr. RuthAnne Rehfeldt , Executive Director for Clinical Quality and Research with Emergent Learning Centers:
"We have recently established our national headquarters at our new clinic in historic downtown Naperville. We focus on integrating the latest advances in applied behavior analysis into our interventions - designed to improve executive functioning, decision making, language and communication, and social and cognitive development, in children and teens with autism. Our approach at this clinic is high intensity treatment in a relatively short number of hours. This approach allows parents to have more time for their child in school, leisure or concurrent sorts of therapeutic spaces.
Our leadership team involves myself and Dr. Mark Dixon. We have together held faculty positions across a number of institutions of higher education, including Southern Illinois University, University of Illinois Chicago, Endicott College, and the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. We are recognized leaders in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis and autism, having had contributed hundreds of empirical investigations to the field’s literature base, including textbooks. We have trained hundreds of board-certified behavior analysts across the country. We have now brought our talents to the Naperville area and are eager to serve the community’s families.
Emergent Learning is a national leader in high quality ABA services. We have centers in Hawaii, California, Texas, and a footprint in the St Louis metro area. We implement empirically verified educational curricula for supporting children and their families. We are now accepting referrals.
