MAKE, BAKE or BUY is a luncheon
program traditionally held in November.
It is our annual fundraiser featuring
wonderful baskets of goodies and gift items
as well as baked goods donated by the
generous members of NNNC. Through the
amazing support of our activity groups and
individual members, Make, Bake or Buy was
able to make a substantial contribution to
eight local charities and four high school
senior scholarships this past club year.
Please consider being a part of a wonderful
organization that welcomes newcomers
and other neighbors through social,
charitable, and educational activities.
NNNC provides an atmosphere of friendliness,
goodwill, and fellowship.

Welcome!
Naperville Newcomers and Neighbors Club is a social
organization that welcomes both newcomers and long-time
residents who want to meet new people through our
educational, social, and charitable activities.
Established in 1999, the Newcomers and Neighbors Club offers
more than 35 activities during the day, evening, or
weekend. Our diverse groups engage in: trips; card
parties; lunches out; walking tours; scrapbooking;
gardening; investing; book groups; international
conversation; and more. The Moms 'n' Tots group alone has
a wide variety of activities and playgroups. In
addition, members continually start new groups.
The Newcomers and Neighbors Club hosts monthly Welcome
Coffees, following each Board Meeting. It also
holds monthly luncheons
with guest speakers at local venues. We
just recently hosted our second dinner dance themed "Dancing in the Moonlight",
which was definitely a lot of fun. We hope to make it
an annual event. Our Make-Bake-n-Buy silent auction, in November, is another event
that's eagerly anticipated by Naperville.
During the our calendar year of
2007-2008 our 420 members raised more than $10,000.00
with over $8000.00 going to local charities. Additionally,
a scholarship fund was established, granting 4
scholarships to worthy public high school seniors in
School District 203 and 204.
